Integrative Travel Program

Purpose:

The Integrative Travel Program (ITP) exists to facilitate the integration of IMOD research, education, workforce development and recruitment, and knowledge transfer activities.

Eligibility:

Anyone proposing collaborative work with a connection to IMOD in the research, education, workforce development, and knowledge transfer space.

Requirements:

Outcomes of work supported by the ITP should acknowledge support through NSF Cooperative Agreement No. DMR-2019444. Publications should be transmitted to IMOD for upload to NSF per current support guidelines. In addition, we’d love to hear of any success stories / positive outcomes that may result from the activity.

Participants may be asked to present on their work and experience at an IMOD meeting and will be required to write a reflection on how this opportunity impacted their work. These reflections should be submitted within 30 days of the conclusion of travel.

This program supports domestic travel only.

Review:

Applications will be screened for completion by an IMOD staff member including either the Managing Director, Education Director, or Director of Center Integration and Workforce Recruitment, then forwarded for review to the IMOD Executive Committee. If deemed necessary, the committee may solicit input from other members of the IMOD Leadership Team. We aim to evaluate all requests within 5 business days.
