Part 11: Leadership

Leadership can take many roles and involve many styles. Sharing leadership is a great way to mentor and provide experience for more junior members. Volunteering to lead in different roles is a great way to develop your skillset in the future. We discuss some of the different ways leadership occurs, the ways you can be involved, and some of the styles you can use to develop your team skills.

This series is adapted from a hybrid and in-person series delivered by IMOD in early 2025. Participants in the series engaged in discussion around these topics and earned a LinkedIN certificate.

This series draws primarily on two sources. The NIH Collaboration and Team Science Field Guide and the Strategies for Team Science Success Handbook. We have also drawn from a number of other key sources.
