Development of strong mentor relationships and an expanded professional network is not only a great way of forging strong connections in a team, but also as a mechanism for strong professional networks in one’s future career. In this section we talk through strategies participants can use to initiate new relationships and strengthen existing ones.

This series is adapted from a hybrid and in-person series delivered by IMOD in early 2025. Participants in the series engaged in discussion around these topics and earned a LinkedIN certificate.

This series draws primarily on two sources. The NIH Collaboration and Team Science Field Guide and the Strategies for Team Science Success Handbook. We have also drawn from a number of other key sources.
