Part of the IMOD Professional Development Program

Part 06: Developing a Shared Vision

Working together to developed a shared vision is a great way to build motivation and trust in a team. Without a shared vision, the team is not really working together, and it can be cause of conflict, poorly defined expectations, and poor team performance. We talk about the importance of this process and provide some tools that folks can use to get their team on the same page.

This series is adapted from a hybrid and in-person series delivered by IMOD in early 2025. Participants in the series engaged in discussion around these topics and earned a LinkedIN certificate.

This series draws primarily on two sources. The NIH Collaboration and Team Science Field Guide and the Strategies for Team Science Success Handbook. We have also drawn from a number of other key sources.
