IMOD partnering with LSAMP from North Seattle College imagined a STEM career fair to showcase opportunities in STEM. IMOD sent a researcher and DEI director to share information about REU and other research opportunities in general to students.
Gibbs reported: It went really well! We talked to a lot of students. We definitely convinced at least a handful to apply to our summer REU program. It is well worth continuing this out reach each year.
