This session, titled “Design Eye for the Researcher”, is part of the IMOD PDP Science Communications Series.
The goal of this series is to provide actionable approaches for IMOD researchers to incorporate concepts of good design into their communications. The aim is that leaving this session participants will have a step-wise approach that can be applied to the development of figures, presentations, posters, and scientific articles.
Design Eye for the Researcher
- Development of a simplified design process you can use when building scientific visuals (Single Figures, Presentations, Posters or Publications and Proposals).
- Review of core design concepts and best practices that can be used to clarify your message.
- Resources and materials that researchers can readily access.
