Multicolored hexagons and pictures of the 2025 IMOD.

This May, we are excited to welcome the 2025 IMOD REU cohort along with student researchers from our PREM partners. Over the next 9 to 10 weeks, these students will immerse themselves in hands-on optoelectronic research, gaining experience that will help shape their future careers as scientists. In addition to contributing to IMOD’s cutting-edge research, they will explore its broader impact, build connections with center members, participate in professional development workshops, and enjoy a variety of social activities. Their enthusiasm for this opportunity is matched by our enthusiasm to support and learn alongside them.

If you have an IMOD REU student at your institution, please make sure to introduce yourself and help us welcome these future scientists for a great summer of learning and fun!
