Catherine La Riviere, a member of the 2022 IMOD REU cohort, received second place in the poster session at the 2023 Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP), held at Argonne National Laboratory. The CUWiP are three-day regional conferences, run by the American Physics Society, for undergraduate physics majors that provide an professional conference experience that is an excellent forum for networking, discussing science and sharing experiences.

Catherine’s poster, title “Emission Spectroscopy of Encapsulated 2D Perovskite Nanocrystals”, included research performed in the Menon Group at The City University of New York as part of the IMOD REU in 2022.
