Being a large distributed national research community comes with a number of huge benefits to our science and research. However, we don’t often get the opportunity to see each other in person and catch up and build teams and develop ideas. 

The IMOD annual meeting is a great opportunity each year to bring a large part of the team together. We talk about the progress we have made, and we build plans together for the work in the coming year. We also take the opportunity to provide in person training for the whole community. 

This year, to change things up, we held the meeting in Philadelphia at U Penn, instead of Seattle. This brought some new aspects and perspectives to the experience. 

Great to see the whole team together in person, and excited by the plans for the coming year!
