IMOD Member Elsa Reichmanis (Lehigh University) has been named as the recipient of the American Chemical Society 2024 Award for Encouraging Women into Careers in the Chemical Sciences. At the March 2024 Spring ACS Meeting Elsa was presented the award by the ACS President Mary K. Carroll.

This award recognizes the work of individuals who have stimulated or fostered the interests of women in chemistry, promoting their professional development and their development of careers in chemistry or chemical engineering.

Elsa joins an impressive cohort of previous recipients, dating back to 1995. Congratulations Elsa, on this well-deserved recognition!
