Elsa Reichmanis elected fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Science
Elsa Reichmanis, and IMOD faculty member based at Lehigh University, has been elected to the 2024 class of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
The American Academy of Arts & Sciences was founded in 1780 by John Adams, John Hancock, and other leading scholars of the time, to recognize and celebrate the excellence of its members while serving as an independent research center convening leaders from across disciplines, professions, and perspectives to address significant challenges.
In 2024 more than 1,250 nominations were made and 250 new members were selected across 31 area of expertise, including STEM disciplines, social sciences, arts and humanities, and policy and communications.
Elsa is an internationally renowned expert in the field of microlithography, making wide ranging contributions in the design and development of polymers and organic materials and processes for advanced electronics and photonics.
