Brandi Cossairt, an IMOD faculty member from the University of Washington, was elected to the 2023 American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellows class.
This year the AAAS Council elected 502 members as Fellows of AAAS. Brandi was included in the Section on Chemistry and was recognized for her contributions to the development of nanoscale materials, those in the range of ~1 – 100 nanometers, for applications in energy and advanced electronics.
As a leading member of RT-1 in IMOD, the Cossairt group investigated how crystalline nanoscale materials come together, grow and shrink, and how the can react with other compounds and photons.
Congratulations Brandi!
