This year, following an intensive two-year requirement-gathering phase, IMOD launched a significant portion of our yearlong ongoing program that advances all IMOD’s Integrative Activities goals – a series of professional development (PDP) seminars and workshops described in detail in the Knowledge Transfer (KT) section that follows. This new series ties seamlessly into our summer intensive course, OMS^3 running since year one, as well as with our industry days, the KT lectures, and an exciting new internships program, described in the following Diversity, Equity and Inclusion section.
IMOD continues to work closely with partners to share educational resources and expertise. In year 3, IMOD led the launch of a coalition of Center education and outreach directors meeting quarterly starting in 2024, where the PDP series will be available to benefit other Center trainees. Furthermore, other Centers will leverage their expertise and networks for continuous improvement and reach of the series.
In year 3, we have expanded our Quantum Learning Engagement Ambassadors Program (LEAP) significantly to priority schools and districts across our sites, connecting IMOD trainees with teachers and district leaders.
