Congratulations to Christian, Aaliyah, Dylan and Hannah, IMOD Graduate students who were members of the 2023 cohort for the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF-GRF).
The NSF-GRF has the purpose to ensure the quality, vitality, and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce of the United States. Each year the NSF awards these fellowships to approximately 2,000 students pursuing research-based Master’s and doctoral degrees in the natural, social, and engineering sciences at US institutions. The Graduate Research Fellowship was first awarded in 1952, with the goal of encouraging basics scientific research and ensuring competitive research programs in the US.
These four IMOD graduate students join some 47,000 recipients of this award, who were selected from over 500,000 applicants since 1952.
